MEANING
मंज्जन करि चित्र चौकी वेगी प्यारी जू सहचरी चित्र विचित्र शृंगार करावत रतन जटित मनिन कें आभूषन सोहत तापर सुहा सारी चुनि पहरावत ॥१॥ Having completed her cleansing, Pyari-ju quickly sits upon the decorated seat. The sakhis adorn her with many beautiful kinds of shringar; jewel-studded ornaments shine upon her, and over them they carefully dress her in a lovely sari. ॥१॥सोडस विधि अलंकार रूप जीवन गुन अपार अपनी उपमां को आपु अंत न पावत ॥ Adorned in the sixteen forms of ornamentation, she is the very life of beauty and possesses boundless virtues; even she herself cannot reach the limit of her own comparison.मुरारीदास प्रभु जाल रंध्र अवलोकत अति आतुर आतुलित छबि रई नेतिनेति निगम वनरानी को गावत ॥२॥ Muraridas says: Prabhu, greatly eager, beholds her through the openings of the lattice. Her incomparable beauty remains beyond measure; the Vedas sing of the Queen of the grove, saying, “Not this, not this.” ॥२॥
