MEANING
नयोनेह नयोमेह नयेरसमाते दोऊ नवल कान्ह वृषभान किशोरी ॥ नवल पीतांबर नवल चूनरी नई नई बूंदन भींजत गोरी ॥१॥New is their affection, new the rain, and newly absorbed in rasa are the ever-fresh Kanh and Vrishabhanu’s daughter. Fresh is His Pitambar, fresh her chunari, and the fair one is being drenched by the freshly falling raindrops. ॥१॥नववृन्दावन हरित मनोहर चातक बोलत मोरा मोरी ॥ नवमुरलीजु नाद मल्हार राग नई गति श्रवण सुनत आये घनघोरी ॥२॥Fresh Vrindavan is green and lovely; the chatak calls, and the peacocks cry out. Hearing the fresh sound of the flute and the new movement of Raga Malhar, dense dark clouds have come. ॥२॥नवभूषण नवमुकुट बिराजत नई नई उरप लेत थोरी थोरी ॥ हित हरिवंश आशीश देत मुख चिरजीयो भूतल यह जोरी ॥३॥Fresh ornaments and a fresh crown shine upon Them, and ever-new stirrings arise little by little. Hit Harivansh gives this blessing with his lips: “May this pair live long upon the earth.” ॥३॥
