MEANING
पावस नटनटयो अखारो वृन्दावन अवनीरंग ॥नृत्यत गुणरास बरुहा पपैया शब्द उघटत ओर कोकिला कल गावत तानतरंग ॥१॥The rainy season has turned the many-colored earth of Vrindavan into a dancing arena. The peacocks dance, the papiha birds cry out, and the cuckoos sweetly sing flowing melodies. ॥१॥जलधर तहां मंदमंद सुलप संचगति भेद उरप तिरप मानलेत सरस मृदंग ॥गोविन्द प्रभु गोवर्धन सिंहासन पर बैठे सुरभी सखा सभा मध्य रीझे वह ललित त्रिभंग ॥२॥There the clouds sound gently and softly, as though a sweet mridang were marking out varied rhythms. Govind says: Prabhu sits upon the throne of Govardhan, delighted in the midst of the cows and His cowherd companions, in His graceful tribhanga form. ॥२॥
