पेहरें कसुंभी सारी बेठे पीयसंग प्यारी सुरंग हिंडोरो शोभालागे अतिभारी ॥Wearing a safflower-coloured sari, the beloved sits with her Piya; the beautifully coloured hindoro appears exceedingly splendid. ॥पियशीर सोहें फेंटा लटकि रह्यो अति दाहिनी ओर अरुण पिछोरा हरखनिरख झूलवत व्रजनारी ॥१॥A fenta adorns Piya’s head, hanging far down on the right side, with a crimson pichhora; beholding Him with delight, the Vraj women swing Him. ॥१॥श्यामघन उमड आये नयेनये लेत सुर गावत सरस तान लाजविसारी ॥Fresh dark clouds have gathered; taking up the melody, they sing sweet musical phrases, forgetting all shyness. ॥रसिक प्रीतमसों करत अनंगरंग अंगअंग सुख मर्यादा भंगकारी ॥२॥With her rasik Beloved she delights in the colours of love; every part of her being is filled with boundless joy. ॥२॥
