MEANING
प्रकट भये सुवन विट्ठलेशके आज ॥कूखरानी सुभग रुक्मिणीकी मांझ शशिवदन यदुनाथ सकल शिरताज ॥१॥Today a son has appeared to Shri Vitthalesh. From the womb of beautiful Queen Rukmini has appeared moon-faced Yadunath, the crown-jewel of all. ॥१॥बढ्यो आनंद चहुं ओर दश दिशनमें भयो मंगल अधिक रह्यो जगछाज ॥सुनत नरनारि फूले सकल नगरके लियो सबसाज सजि मंगल समाज ॥२॥Joy increases everywhere; throughout the ten directions, great auspiciousness spreads across the world. Hearing the news, all the men and women of the town rejoice, take their festive offerings, adorn themselves, and gather for the celebration. ॥२॥चले सब धाय सिंघपोर विट्ठलेशकी तारी देदे नचत बजत बहुबाज ॥They all hurry toward the main gateway of Shri Vitthalesh’s home, clapping and dancing while many instruments resound.आयकीनो दरस विट्ठल उदारको रसिकदास करत तहां शुभ काज ॥३॥They come and have darshan of the generous Shri Vitthal. Rasikdas says: auspicious celebrations are taking place there. ॥३॥
