MEANING
राम जन्म मानत नंदराई ।प्रथम फुलेल उबटनों सोंधो यह बिध लाल न्हवाई ॥१॥Nandarai celebrates the birth of Ram. First, Lala is bathed with fragrant oil and sweet-scented ubtan. ॥१॥रंग केसर वागो कुलही आभूषण पहिराई ॥सबको व्रज एक लरिका तातें बेगही लियो जिंमाई ॥२॥He is dressed in a saffron-coloured bago and kulah and adorned with ornaments. Since He is the beloved child of all Vraj, everyone eagerly gathers to feed Him. ॥२॥जन्म समे पंचामृतसों देव न्हवावत गाई ॥चर्चित पीतांबर उठायके फूलमाल पहिराई ॥३॥At the time of the birth celebration, the Deva is bathed with Panchamrit as songs are sung. He is anointed, dressed in a Pitambar, and adorned with a flower garland. ॥३॥भोग धरायके आरतीवारत बाजत बहुत बधाई ॥दुहुकर जोर बलैयां ले के तुलसीदास बल जाई ॥४॥After offering bhog, they perform arati, while many joyful sounds of celebration resound. With both hands joined, they lovingly ward away all harm from Him. Tulsidas offers himself to Him in devotion. ॥४॥
