श्रीब्रजराजकें हो आनंद मंगल भीर ।देस देसके जाचक आये पढ़त बिरद आभीर ॥ध्रु.॥At Shri Brajaraj’s home there is a great gathering of joy and festivity. Petitioners have come from many lands, proclaiming the praises of the Abhir chief. ॥ध्रु.॥एक ढाढ़ी सारों पाली ।बोलन सीखई मानो आली ।खेचरी चरुवा जस गायौ ।उन लियो है आपन मन मायो ॥१॥One bard has raised a starling bird, teaching it to speak as though it were a sakhi. The wandering bird sings His praises, and has captivated everyone’s heart. ॥१॥एक मैना मोद बढ़ावै ।जसुमति की कूख मल्हावै ।वे नंदराय भवन भावै ।वे दान बोहोत विधि पावैं ॥२॥One myna increases the joy, praising the blessed womb of Jasumati. It delights the household of Nandarai, and its keeper receives gifts of many kinds. ॥२॥एक सूवा हाथ पढ़ायौ ।जसुमति हों सुजस सुनायौ ।वह नंदराय मन भायौ ।सुक कंचन चोंचु मढ़ायौ ॥३॥One has trained a parrot upon his hand and taught it to proclaim Jasumati’s fair renown. It pleases Nandarai’s heart, and the parrot’s beak is adorned with gold. ॥३॥एक मोर नचावत आये ।उन कुहुकि कुहुकि जस गाये ।वे व्रजपति निकट बुलाये ।वे दान बोहोत विधि पाये ॥४॥One comes making a peacock dance, and with repeated melodious calls it sings His praises. Vrajpati calls him near, and he receives gifts of many kinds. ॥४॥एक तुरंग नचावत आये ।गोपनकों सुजस सुनाये ।वे नंद गोप मन भाये ।मणिमाला तिनहिं दिवाये ।One comes making a horse dance and proclaims the fair renown of the cowherds. He pleases Nanda Gopa’s heart, and Nanda has a jeweled necklace given to him.एक गज चढ़ि ढाढ़ि आये ।वे नाचत अति मनभाये ।वे बेस अनुपमा पाये ।नख शिखलों पहिराये ॥६॥One bard comes riding upon an elephant. His dancing is exceedingly pleasing, and he receives incomparable garments, with which he is dressed from head to toe. ॥६॥एक मृगछौना गृही आन्यौ ।नखशिखलों छविसों बान्यौ ।वह नंद चरन पर लोटे ।सबगोपनके मनमोटे ॥७॥One brings a young deer to the house, beautifully adorned from head to toe. It rolls at Nanda’s feet and captivates the hearts of all the cowherds. ॥७॥एक कटिजरकसी पट बांधे ।बनचर धरि लायौ काँधे ।वह लै बलाय तून तोरें ।सब गोपनके मन मोरें ॥८॥One, with a brocaded cloth tied around his waist, comes carrying a forest creature upon his shoulder. He performs feats with it, breaking arrows, and captivates the hearts of all the cowherds. ॥८॥एक हंस नचावत आये ।वे ढाढ़ी परम सुहाये ।वे हँसिकें निकट बुलाये ।गजमोति तिनहिं चुगाये ॥९॥One comes making a swan dance; that bard appears exceedingly charming. Smiling, they call it near and feed it elephant pearls. ॥९॥एक नाचत तंबक तंबे ।डग धाई धरत पग लंबे ।वे नंदराय मन भाये ।करटोडर तिनहिं दिवाये ॥१०॥One comes dancing to the beat of the tambak, taking long strides as he moves swiftly. He pleases Nandarai’s heart, and Nanda has bracelets given to him. ॥१०॥एक नट विद्या बहु खेलें ।गरें डारि भुजा भुज मेलें ।वे नंदराय मन भाये ।गजहस्ती तिनहिं दिवाये ॥११॥One acrobat performs many feats of his art, entwining neck and arms and joining limb with limb. He pleases Nandarai’s heart, and Nanda has an elephant given to him. ॥११॥एक बरसानेतें आये ।वे ढाढ़ी परम सुहाये ।चिरजीबहु लालकी मौसी वे देत दान बहु होंसी ॥१२॥One has come from Barsana, a most delightful bard. “May Lala’s maternal aunt live long!” he says, and she joyfully gives many gifts. ॥१२॥जिन यह जसगाय सुनायौ ।जाके मनमें यह आयौ ।यह किसोरीदास मन भायौ ।वृंदावन वास बसायौ ॥१३॥Whoever sings and proclaims this praise, and in whose heart this devotion arises—this is pleasing to Kishoridas, who has made his dwelling in Vrindavan. ॥१३॥
