श्रीवृंदावन खेलत गुपाल ॥ बनि बनि आई ब्रजकी बाल ॥१॥In beautiful Vṛndāvan, Gopāl is playing. The young women of Vraj have come, beautifully dressed and adorned. ॥१॥नवल सुंदरी नवतमाल ॥ फूले नवल कमल मधि नव रसाल ॥२॥The fresh tamāl trees are beautiful, and fresh lotuses have blossomed among the new mango trees. ॥२॥अपनेकर सुंदर रचितमाल ॥ अवलंबित नागर नंदलाल ॥३॥Nandanāl, the graceful Nāgar, is adorned with a beautiful garland made with His own hands. ॥३॥नवगोपवधू राजतहेंसंग ॥ गजमोतिन सुंदर लसत मंग ॥४॥The newly married gopīs shine around Him. Beautiful elephant pearls shine upon them, adding to their beauty. ॥४॥नवकेसरि मेद अरगजा घोरि ॥ छिरकत नागरिकों नवकिसोर ॥५॥They mix fresh saffron, musk, and fragrant argajā, and sprinkle them upon the young Nāgar Kisora. ॥५॥तहां गोपीग्वाल सुंदर सुदेस ॥ राजतमाला विविध केस ॥६॥There, the gopīs and cowherd boys look beautiful and radiant; their varied hairstyles are adorned with garlands. ॥६॥नंदनंदन को भुवविलास ॥ सदां रहो मन सूरदास ॥७॥May the playful pastimes of Nandanandana always remain in Sūrdās’s heart. ॥७॥
