MEANING
सोतु राखलेरी झोटा तरण भये ॥ इत नवकुंज द्वार कदंब परस जात उत यमुनालों गये ॥१ ॥The swing ropes are held firmly, and the swing moves gently. From here, they pass through the doorway of the new bower, touching the kadamba tree, and from there they go toward the Yamuna. ॥१ ॥आवत जात लपटात लतनसों ताऊपर द्रुम फूलछये ॥ कल्याणके प्रभु गिरिधर रीझ वशभये झूलत नयेनये ॥२ ॥As the swing moves back and forth, the creepers brush against it, while flowering trees spread their shade above. Kalyan says that Lord Giridhar, pleased and captivated, swings again and again. ॥२ ॥
