वृंदावन झूलत गिरिवरधारी ॥In Vrindavan, Girivardhari swings. ॥सावन मास सरस घन बरसे तैसीये भूमि हरियाली ॥१ ॥In the delightful month of Savan, beautiful clouds pour down rain, and the earth becomes green and fresh. ॥१ ॥फूले कुसुम सुभग यमुना तट पवन बहत सुखकारी ॥ निरखी निरखी सुख देत झोटीका श्रीवृषभान दुलारी ॥२ ॥Beautiful flowers are blooming along the banks of the Yamuna, and a pleasant breeze is blowing. The swing of Shri Vrishabhanu's beloved daughter gives joy again and again as one beholds her. ॥२ ॥दादुर मोर पपैया कोयल शब्द करत मनुहारी ॥ गावत राग मल्हार भामिनी पहेरे झुमक सारी ॥३ ॥Frogs, peacocks, papihas, and cuckoos fill the surroundings with pleasing sounds. The lovely companions sing Raga Malhar, wearing beautiful jhumka ornaments and saris. ॥३ ॥बाजत ताल मृदंग बांसुरी नाचत देकर तारी ॥ मदनमोहन राधावर उपर गोविंद तनमन वारी ॥४ ॥The rhythm sounds, and the mridang and flute play.
