सुमिरि मन गोपाललाल सुंदर अति रूप-जाल । मिटि है जंजाल सकल निरखत सँग गोप-बाल ॥१॥ O mind, remember the beautiful Gopal Lal, whose beauty is enchanting. All troubles disappear upon seeing Him with the cowherd boys. ॥१॥मोर-मुकुट सीस धरैं बनमाला सुभग गरैं । सब कौ मन हरैं, देखि कुंडल की झलक गाल ॥२॥ He wears a peacock-feather crown on His head and a forest garland around His lovely neck. The shine of His earrings upon His cheeks steals everyone's heart. ॥२॥आभूषन अंग सोहैं, मोतिनि कौ हार पोहैं । कंठसिरी दृग मोहे गोपी निरखति निहाल ॥३॥ Beautiful ornaments adorn His body, and He wears a necklace of pearls. The beauty of His neck delights the eyes, and the gopis gaze upon Him with great joy. ॥३॥'छीत-स्वामी' गोवर्धन-धारी कुंवर नंद सुवन । गांइनि के पाछैं-पाछैं पग धरत हैं लटकीली चाल ॥४॥ Chhit Swami says: The young son of Nanda, the lifter of Govardhan, walks behind the cows with a charming, swaying gait. ॥४॥
