MEANING
तुम देखो माई रथ बैठे जदुराय ॥ प्रात समै आवत अलसाने नैननि झुकि झुकि जाँय ॥१॥Mother, behold Krishna, Jaduray—the Lord of the Yadu lineage—seated upon the chariot. At the early hour He comes gently drowsy, His eyes lowering again and again. ॥१॥संख चक्र गदा पद्म बिराजत सुंदरस्याम स्वरूप ॥ स्वेत पिछोरा कुल्हे रही लसि मुक्तामाल अनूप ॥२॥The conch, discus, mace, and lotus adorn His beautiful dark form. His white pichhora and kulah shine gracefully, together with an incomparable pearl garland. ॥२॥सीसफूल भाल तिलक बिराजत रवि ससि सम कनफूल ॥ आरति वारत प्रानप्यारे पर ‘गिरिधर’ जमुना-कूल ॥३॥A flower ornament adorns His head, a tilak shines upon His forehead, and His earrings gleam like the sun and moon. Giridhar says: on the bank of Yamunaji, arati is lovingly offered to Pranpyare. ॥३॥
