MEANING
जेश्रीजगन्नाथ हरि देवा ॥ रथ बैठे प्रभु अधिक बिराजत जगत करत सब सेवा ॥१॥Victory to Shri Jagannath, Hari Deva. Prabhu shines magnificently seated upon the chariot, while all the world offers Him seva. ॥१॥सनक सनंदन ओर ब्रह्मादिक इन्द्रादिक जुर आये ॥ अपनी अपनी भेटसबे ले गगन विमानन छाये ॥२॥Sanaka, Sanandana, Brahma, Indra, and the other devas all assembled there. Each brought his own offering, and the sky was filled with celestial vehicles. ॥२॥रत्नजटित रथनीको लागत चंचल अश्व लगाये ॥ नरनारी आनंदभये अति प्रमुदित मंगल गाये ॥३॥The jewel-studded chariot looked most beautiful, with spirited horses harnessed to it. Men and women were filled with joy and, greatly delighted, sang auspicious songs. ॥३॥गारीदेत दिवावत अपनपे यह विधि रथहिं चलाये ॥ रामराय श्रीगोवर्धनवासी नगर उडीसा आये ॥४॥With festive songs and loving offerings, they set the chariot in motion in this way. Ramrai says: Shri Govardhanvasi has come to the city of Odisha. ॥४॥
