MEANING
व्रजमें रथचढ़ चलेरी गोपाल ॥ संग लिये गोकुलके लरिका बोलत वचन रसाल ॥१॥Gopal rides through Vraj upon the chariot, taking the boys of Gokul along with Him and speaking sweet words. ॥१॥श्रवण सुनत गृहगृहतें दौरी देखनकों व्रजबाल ॥ लेत फेरकर हरि की बलैया वारत कंचन माल ॥२॥Hearing of it, the young women of Vraj run out from their homes to see Him. They lovingly ward away the evil eye from Hari and offer golden garlands. ॥२॥सामग्री ले आवत शीतल लेत हरख नंदलाल ॥ बांटदेत ओर ग्वालन कों फूले गावत ग्वाल ॥३॥They bring cooling offerings, which Nandalal receives with joy. He distributes them among the cowherds, who rejoice and sing. ॥३॥जय जयकार भयो त्रिभुवन में कुसुम बरखत तिहिं काल ॥ देखदेख उमगे व्रजवासी सबेदेत करताल ॥४॥Cries of victory resound through the three worlds, and flowers are showered at that moment. Seeing Him again and again, the people of Vraj overflow with joy and all clap their hands. ॥४॥यह विध बन सिंधद्वार जब आवत माय तिलक करभाल ॥ ले उछंग पधरावत घरमें ॥ चलत मंदगति चाल ॥५॥In this way, when He arrives at the entrance, Mother places a tilak upon His forehead. Taking Him lovingly into her lap, she brings Him into the house as He moves with a gentle gait. ॥५॥कर नोंछावर अपने सुतकी मुक्ताफल भरथाल ॥ यह लीलारस रसिक दिवानिशि सुमिरत होत निहाल ॥६॥She performs nazar over her son with a tray filled with pearls. Those who are rasikas remember this lila-rasa day and night and become filled with joy. ॥६॥
