MEANING
यशुमतिदधिमंथनकरत बैठीवडधाम अजिरठाढेहरिहँसतनेन्ही दँतियानछबिछाजें ॥ चितवतचित रह्योलुभाय शोभाकछुकहीनजाय मुनिनकेमनहरनको मोहनीदलसाजें ॥१॥Yashoda sits churning curd in the great house, while Hari stands in the courtyard, smiling, with the beauty of His little teeth shining forth. Whoever looks at Him has the heart captivated; His beauty cannot be described. He is adorned in such enchanting attire as would steal even the minds of sages. ॥१॥यशुमतिकहेंनाचोलाल देहोंगी नवनीतलोंदा चलत नूपुररुनझुनांत किंकिणी कलबाजें ॥ गावतगुण सूरदास सुखछायो भूअकाश नांचत त्रिलोकीनाथ माखनकेकाजें ॥२॥Yashoda says, “Dance, my child, and I will give you a lump of fresh butter.” As He moves, His anklets ring with a sweet sound, and His little waist-bells tinkle beautifully. Surdas sings His glories: joy spreads through earth and sky as the Lord of the three worlds dances for the sake of butter. ॥२॥
