देयशुमति नेंक अपनीरई योंहीपरयो है बिनामथनकीये दई ॥ अपनी हौढूँढआई उठ अंधियारेमाँझपाई न भवनमें कहांधोंगई ॥१॥Yashumati, please lend me your churning rod for a little while. My curd is still lying there, unchurned. I got up in the darkness and searched for my own churning rod, but could not find it anywhere in the house. Where could it have gone? ॥१॥याहीते आतुरधाई जियनकछुसुहाईलोनी लालचमोहिटचपटीभई ॥ दिनाचार करूंकाज बढो नंदजूकेराज जोंलोंहमारे आबेगई ॥२॥That is why I have hurried here anxiously. Nothing pleases my heart, for my longing for butter has made me restless. I must attend to my daily chores. May Nandji's household prosper! At daybreak, I offer this blessing: May not even a hair fall from your Giridhari's head! I offer myself to Him again and again. ॥३॥
