आज कछु देखियत ओरही बानिक प्यारी तिलक आधे मोती मरगजीमंग ॥Today, a somewhat different appearance is seen, dear one: a tilak made partly of pearls and partly of emeralds.रसिक कुंवर संग अखारे जागी सजनी अधर सुखे निस बजावत उपंग ॥१॥The beloved companion stays awake through the night with the Rasik Prince in the performance area, playing the upaṅga through the night. ॥१ ॥नवनिकुंज रंग मंडपमें नृत्यभूमि साजि सेज सुरंग ॥In the new grove, a colorful pavilion is prepared, with a dancing ground and a beautiful resting place.तापर बिबिध कलकूजित सखीसुनत श्रवण वन थकित कुरंग ॥२॥There, the sakhīs hear many different sweet sounds; even the deer of the forest become still while listening. ॥२ ॥कृष्णदास प्रभु नटवरनागर रचत नयन रति पतिव्रतभंग ॥Kṛṣṇadās says: Prabhu Naṭvar Nāgar, through the beauty of His eyes, causes Rati’s steadfast devotion to be overcome.मोहनलाल गोवर्धनधारी तोहि मिलन चलि नृत्यक अनंग ॥३॥O Mohan Lāl, Govardhandhārī, Ananga has come to meet You and join the dance. ॥३ ॥
