MEANING
आज वृषभानकी ललीके वदन पर दूनी छबि रही फबि ॥Today, the face of Vrishabhanu's daughter shines with twice the beauty. ॥यशोदाको लाल वीर सहोद्राको राखी बांधि झुलतहें अति बाढी छबि ॥१ ॥Yashoda's beloved son, wearing the rakhi tied by His sister, swings, and His beauty shines ever more brightly. ॥१ ॥चहूं ओर झोटादेत परस्पर बडोहेत रीझ रीझ नरनारी भयेहें मुदित मन ॥From all around, they give the swing its gentle pushes. Men and women, filled with great affection and delight, rejoice with happy hearts. ॥मुकुटकी लटक बीच कुंजल अति शोभा देत कोटिकिरन सहित रवि ओर मदन ॥२ ॥The hanging ornament of the crown, together with the kunjal, looks exceedingly beautiful, shining like the sun with millions of rays and surpassing the beauty of Manmatha. ॥२ ॥तजि न सकत मन टारी न टरत छबि मोंकु नेंक ढील भई कहारी कहूं अब ॥My mind cannot turn away, nor can it leave this beautiful sight. I cannot take my eyes away even for a moment. The swing has slackened a little—what more can I say? ॥कृष्णदास पिय वसो मन सदाहियें एसी छबि वरन सकत कोन कवि ॥३ ॥Krishnadas says, “May my beloved always dwell within my heart. What poet could ever describe such beauty?” ॥३ ॥
