काकी भीजे पाग कुसुंभी सोंधे भीजे वार ॥ कटि पिछोरा भीजे उपरना भीजे मोती हार ॥२॥
Whose saffron-colored turban is soaked, and whose fragrant hair is drenched? The cloth at His waist is wet, His upper garment is wet, and even His pearl garland is drenched. ॥२॥
कोन चढत भीजे वृक्षन पर कोन बुलावत गाय ॥ श्रीविट्टल गिरिधर तेरे प्रीतम नवनिकुंजके राय ॥३॥
Who climbs the trees while drenched, and who calls out to the cows? Shri Vitthal says: it is Giridhar, your beloved, the Lord of the fresh groves. ॥३॥
