MEANING
चिरैयनको चुंहचुहाट सुन प्रात उठी दुलही ॥रेनको सुख लूटलूट कनिकबेलि उलही ॥१॥Hearing the chirping of the birds, Dulahi rises at dawn. Filled with the happiness, like the golden creeper gently awakens. ॥१॥सास ननदकी त्रास जान बडे भोर जागी ॥हरें हरें आय यशोदाके पांय लागी ॥२॥Mindful of Her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, She awakens very early. Quietly She comes and bows at Yashoda’s feet. ॥२॥यशोमति दे असीस अविचल सुहाग तेरो ॥सुंदर जोरी निरख निरख हीयो सिरात मेरो ॥३॥Yashomati blesses Her: “May Your suhag remain forever. Gazing again and again upon this beautiful pair brings deep contentment to my heart.” ॥३॥सुखकी करन दुःखकी हरन कीरतजूने जाई ॥रामराय एसी वधू पूरे पून्य पाई ॥४॥She then goes to Kirtiju, the giver of happiness and remover of sorrow. Ramrai says: only through the fullness of great merit could such a Vadhu be attained. ॥४॥
