देखामाई रूप सरोवर साजें ॥ व्रजवनिता व्रजवारि वृन्दमें श्रीव्रजराज बिराजें ॥१॥Mother, behold this beautifully adorned lake of beauty. Amid the women of Vraj, like waters gathered together, Shri Vrajraj shines resplendently. ॥१॥लोचन जलज मधुप अलकावलि कुंडल मीनसलोलें ॥ कुच चक्रवाक विलोक वदन विधु विछुरि रहे बिनबोलें ॥२ ॥Her eyes are like lotuses, her rows of curls like bees, and her earrings like playful fish. The upper form is likened to a pair of chakravaka birds, quietly facing the moon-like beauty of her face. ॥२ ॥मुक्तामाल बगपांति मनोहर करत कुलाहल कूल ॥ सारस हंस चकोर मोर शुक वैजयंती समतूल ॥३ ॥The pearl garland appears like a charming row of white herons along the shore. Cranes, swans, chakor birds, peacocks, and parrots seem reflected in the many-colored beauty of the Vaijayanti garland. ॥३ ॥कनक कपिश निचोल विविध रंग विरह व्यथा बिसरावे ॥ सूरदास आनंद सिंधुकी शोभा कहेत न आवे ॥४ ॥The golden and tawny garments, adorned in many colors, make one forget the sorrow of separation. Surdas says: the beauty of this ocean of bliss cannot be described. ॥४ ॥
