देखो माई श्याम हिंडोरे झूले ।Look, Mother, Shyam is swinging on the hindoro.निरख निरख मनमोहन मुखछबि व्रजजन मन अति फूले ॥१॥Beholding the beautiful face of Manmohan again and again, the hearts of the people of Vraj blossom with great joy. ॥१॥स्याम खंभ बहु भाँति बनाये डांडी स्याम मन भाई ।The dark-coloured pillars have been made in many beautiful ways, and the swing-rods are pleasing to Shyam’s heart.पटुली स्याम बिराजत तामें हीरा लाल जराई ॥२॥A beautiful dark-coloured swing-seat is placed upon it, set with diamonds and rubies. ॥२॥स्याम रंग व्रजराज लाडीलो अरु चन्द्रावलि गोरी ।Vrajaraj’s beloved Ladilo is dark in complexion, while Chandravali is fair.नव व्रजवधु चहुँ दिसनि ठाडी मानों प्रेमरंग बोरी ॥३॥The young women of Vraj stand all around, as though immersed in the colour of love. ॥३॥तामें राग मलार मधुर सुर नवल जुवतिजन गावे ।Among them, the young women sing Raga Malhar in sweet, fresh melodies.श्री विट्ठल गिरिधरन लालसों नवल नेह उपजावे ॥४॥They awaken fresh affection for Shri Vitthal Giridharan Lal. ॥४॥
