MEANING
दुल्हे दुलहनि सुरंग हिंडोरें झूलें प्रथम समागम अहो गठजोरें ॥The bridegroom and bride swing upon the beautiful hindora; ah, at this first meeting they are joined together in the ceremonial knot. ॥चरणखंभ भुजकरिमयार डांडीचारू कमल कर रमक हुलसे दोउ ओरें ॥१॥Their feet are like pillars, their arms like graceful supports, and their lotus hands hold the lovely swing-rope; both delight joyfully on either side. ॥१॥सुभगसेज पटुली सुखबाढ्यो मरुवाबेलन प्राचीओरें ॥The beautiful cushioned seat increases their joy, while fragrant maruva creepers spread toward the east. ॥नंददास प्रभु रस बरखत जहां दामिनीके अनुहोरें ॥२॥Nanddas says, there the Prabhu showers rasa, shining with the splendour of lightning. ॥२॥
