MEANING
हरिको वामन रूप बनायौ ॥नंदराय यह रूप बनायौ ॥नंदराय has adorned Hari in the form of Vaman. He has fashioned this beautiful form for Him.नंदराय यह मानी जयंति उबटि सुगंध न्हवायौ ॥१॥Nandarai celebrates this Jayanti, bathing Him with fragrant ubtan. ॥१॥शिर किरीट पीतांबर काछनी आभूषन बहु भाँति ॥जन्म समै सुनि सुनि गृह गृहतें आई जुरि जुरि पांति ॥२॥Upon His head is a crown; He wears a pitambar and kachhani, with ornaments of many kinds. Hearing that the time of His birth has come, people arrive from house after house and gather together in rows. ॥२॥कहत सबै सिंगार सलोंनों नितप्रति दूनौ नेह ॥द्वारिकेश प्रभु याचक ह्वै कै कह्यौं बलि दीनौ तो देह ॥३॥Everyone says, “How charming is this shringar!” Their love for Him grows twofold day by day. Dwarikesh says: the Lord became a supplicant and said to Bali, “Give Me what you have promised.” ॥३॥
