MEANING
हरित जमुनातट हरित जु बंसीवट हरित लतान तामें हरें हरें झूले। हरे हरे बोले मोर कोकिला करत रोर हरें हरें झोंटा देत व्रजजन फूलें ॥१॥The banks of Yamunā are green, Bansīvaṭ is green, and green creepers have green swings hanging among them. The peacocks and cuckoos call in green surroundings; the people of Vraj, giving the green swings a push, blossom with joy. ॥१॥हरी जु काछिनी कटि हर्योई टिपारो सीस मोर चन्द्रिकाजु हरी छबि देखि भूलें। हर्योई सिंगार करि राधामोहन जु दोऊ रसिक निरखि निरखि सोभा सुख डुलें ॥२॥Hari wears a green waist-garment, and a green forehead ornament; upon His head is a peacock-feather and crescent ornament. Beholding His green beauty, they lose themselves in it. Radha and Mohan have adorned themselves entirely in green; the two rasikas, gazing again and again upon their beauty, sway in happiness. ॥२॥
