MEANING
हिंडोरे झूलत रंग रंगीले ॥ नव निकुंज रस पुंज सदन में छबि सौं छबीले ॥१ ॥They are swinging on a swing, full of delightful colors. In the fresh grove, the abode of the gathered sweetness of rasa, the beautiful pair shines forth in beauty. ॥१ ॥नव भूषन नव बसन अंग अंग नव नव नेह नवीले ॥ नव वृषभानु सुता नंद नंदन महारस मत्त छकीले ॥२ ॥With new ornaments and new garments, every limb is adorned, and fresh with ever-new affection. The fresh daughter of Vrishabhanu and Nanda’s son are joyfully absorbed and intoxicated with the great rasa. ॥२ ॥इत नव तरुनी मेंन मन हरनी चहूँ दिस रही फवीलें ॥ निरखि हरखि झुलवति अरु गावत तान तरंग रसीले ॥३ ॥Here, the young women, enchanting the minds like does, are present in all four directions. Beholding them, rejoicing, they make the swing move and sing melodious, wave-like strains filled with rasa. ॥३ ॥सारस हंस चकोर मोर पिक कुंजित मधुप मतीले ॥ सुजान सखी लखि दंपति को सुख नैंन निवास वसीले ॥४ ॥Cranes, swans, chakors, peacocks, and cuckoos are calling, while the bees hum in delight. The wise sakhi, beholding the divine pair, finds such joy that this happiness takes up its abode in her eyes. ॥४॥
