व्रजयुवति संग लाल झूलत वृन्दावन मध्य पचरंग सोहत सुरंग हिंडोरें ॥ नट अलाप लेत सुघर राग रंग विहंसविहंस झोटादेत चहुँदिश मिल विहंस थोरें थोरें ॥१॥The beloved Lal swings with a young woman of Vraj in the midst of Vrindavan, beautifully seated on a five-colored, lovely swing. The musicians begin beautiful melodies and ragas; smiling again and again, they give pushes to the swing, and all around, little by little, everyone smiles. ॥१॥रत्नखचित खंभनकी कांति मानों प्रकटभई विविध भांत पहेरें तन चूनरी रंगबोरें ॥ तेसीये उठत चढत घटा चहुँदिशतें घनगरजत दामिनी दुर दुर देखत विचविच चित चोरें ॥२॥The radiance of the gem-studded pillars seems to shine forth in many different ways; the bodies are adorned in garments and veils soaked in color. In the same way, clouds rise and gather from all directions; the deep clouds thunder, while lightning flashes far away, here and there stealing the heart. ॥२॥तेसीये हरियारी भूमि तेसेई शुक कोकिला बोलत डोलत संयुत अपने जोरें ॥ तेसेई पिय मदनमोहन उर हंसलई कंठ राधा यह छबि देख विथकित व्रजजन तृणतोरें ॥३॥The earth is likewise green, and the parrots and cuckoos likewise call and move about, together in their pairs. In the same way, the beloved Madan Mohan holds Radha close to His heart and neck; seeing this beautiful sight, the people of Vraj stand astonished, as though rooted to the ground. ॥३॥
