जसोदा नाल न छेदन Jasoda Nal Na Chedan
MEANING
जसोदा नाल न छेदन देहों ।मनिमय जटित हारग्रीवाकौ वहै आज हों लैहों ॥१॥“Jasoda, I will not let the umbilical cord be cut; today I will take that jeweled necklace for the neck” ॥१॥औरनके हैं सकल गोप मेरे एकै भवन तुह्यारौ ।मिटि जो गयौ संताप जनमकौ देख्यौ नंद दुलारौ ॥२॥“All the other Gopas belong to others; for me, yours alone is my home; the suffering of birth has been erased, for I have seen Nanda's darling” ॥२॥बोहोत दिननकी आशा लागी झगरिन झगरौ कीनौ ।मनमें विहँसत है नंदरानी हार हियेकौ दीनौ ॥३॥“With hope held for many days, the birth-attendant has made this quarrel”; Nandarani smiles within her heart and gives the necklace from her neck ॥३॥जाकौ नाल आदि ब्रह्मादिक सकल विश्वआधार ।सूरदास प्रभु गोकुल प्रगटे मेंटनकों भूभार ॥४॥He whose umbilical cord is the source of Brahma and all others, the support of the whole universe; Surdas says, the Lord has appeared in Gokul to remove the burden of the earth ॥४॥
