MEANING
काहै झगरिनि मैं बड़भागिनि निरख्यौ है नंदजूको लाल ।जाकौ दरस देव नहीं पावै मैं पायौ है इहि काल ॥१॥The midwife says, “I am greatly fortunate, for I have beheld Nandaji’s beloved child. He whose darshan even the gods cannot obtain—I have obtained it at this very moment.” ॥1॥यह औसरेमें कैसे पायौ कौन पुन्य कहो कैसे जायौ।प्रभुकी कृपा बिना कछु पावत लैहों अब अपनों मन भायौ ॥२॥“How have I obtained this opportunity? What merit could I possibly describe that brought it about? Nothing can be attained without the Lord’s grace; now I shall receive what my heart truly desires.” ॥2॥जातिन छोटी करमनि मोटी देव निकट कोऊ बैठ न पायौ ॥मैं अपने हाथन करि लीनों नाल छेदनकों मोहि बुलायौ ॥३॥“I am low in caste, yet my fortune through this deed is great; even the gods have not been able to sit so near Him. I have taken Him in my own hands—they called me to cut His umbilical cord.” ॥3॥अपनों जनम सुफल करि मानत दुर्लभ दर्शन सुलभ पायौ ।सगुनदास तिन सब कछु पायौ जिहि पारस ते लोह मिटायौ ॥४॥“I consider my life fulfilled, for I have easily obtained this darshan that is so difficult to attain.” Sagundas says: she has obtained everything, like iron whose very nature is transformed by touching the paras stone. ॥4॥
