MEANING
झगरिनि झगरत नंदसों थौरो नहि माँगें ।ज्यों ज्यों मन हरि निहोरहीं त्यों त्यों उठि लागें ॥१॥The birth-attendant quarrels with Nanda and asks for no small thing; the more they plead with her for Hari's sake, the more she rises in insistence ॥१॥पूरन तप बड़भागिनि जसोदा सुत जायौ ।शिव विरंचिकौ ईश है तेरे घर आयौ ॥२॥“By complete tapas, greatly fortunate Jasoda has borne a son; the Ish of Shiva and Brahma has come to your house” ॥२॥तीन लोक जाके उदरमें अचरज है महा री ।ताकौ छेद्यौ नाल हों देहों हो कहा री ॥३॥“The three worlds are in His belly; this is a great wonder. I have cut His cord; what will you give me?” ॥३॥सों हों माँगों कहा री कृपा करी पाऊँ ।बिखे विकार बिसारिकें जस जगमें गाऊँ ॥४॥“What shall I ask? May I receive grace; forgetting poison and faults, may I sing His fame in the world” ॥४॥
