MEANING
झूलत रंग महेल रतन हिंडोरें ॥ सखी रूप धरें प्यारी प्यारो बांह जोरें ॥१॥They swing in the Rang Mahal upon a jewel-studded swing. The Beloved and the Beloved One appear in the beautiful forms of sakhīs, joyfully holding one another’s arms. ॥१॥चुनरी चटक रंग दोऊनके सोहें ॥ हीराके भूषण तन अति मन मोहें ॥२॥Brightly colored veils beautifully adorn Them both. Their diamond ornaments are exceedingly beautiful and delight the heart. ॥२॥वेणुनाद दोऊ करें सप्त सुर साजें ॥ रसिकदासके प्रभु रति रस राजें ॥३॥Together they create the sound of the flute, setting forth the seven musical notes. Rasikdās says: the Lord reigns in the sweetness of loving devotion. ॥३॥
