MEANING
सघन कुंजमें झूलत सखी भेषकीयें ॥ कंक भुज डार दोऊ लपटातहीयें ॥१॥In the dense kunja, the sakhīs swing, beautifully dressed in their chosen attire. With their arms around one another, the two remain joyfully together. ॥१॥अधर सुधा पीवत दोऊ रंगभीने ॥ उरझत हार दाम नेह नवीने ॥२॥Both are immersed in joy, delighting in the sweetness of Their loving presence. Their necklaces and garlands become intertwined, in the fresh sweetness of Their affection. ॥२॥अर्ध नेन मूंदि प्यारी पियतन हेरे ॥ पुलकित सब अंग लाज मुख फेरे ॥३॥The Beloved One gazes at Her beloved with half-closed eyes; Her whole form is filled with joyful emotion, and with modesty She turns Her face away. ॥३॥गावत आनंद भरे उभय प्रवीने ॥ रसिकदासको प्रभु रति रस लीने ॥४॥The two sing skillfully, filled with joy. Rasikdās says: the Lord accepts the rasa of loving devotion. ॥४॥
