MEANING
आँगनमें हरि सोय गयेरी ॥हरे हरे दोऊ जननी मिलिके सेज सहित तब भवन लहेरी ॥१॥Hari has fallen asleep in the courtyard. Gently, gently, the two mothers together carry Him, bedding and all, into the house. ॥१॥कहत रोहिणी इन्हें न जगावौ खेलत डोलत हार गयेरी ।बारंबार जूंभात साँवरौ बदन देख विस्मित जु भयरी ॥२॥Rohini says, “Do not wake them; they have grown tired from playing and roaming about.” Seeing the little Shyam yawn again and again, they gaze upon His face in wonder. ॥२॥कहत नंद ये कछून जानें गायन के सँग श्रमित भयरी ।सूरदास बलराम श्याम तब ब्रजरानी सँग पौढ़ रहेरी ॥३॥Nanda says, “These little ones know nothing of their weariness; they have grown tired while being among the cows.” Surdas says: Balaram and Shyam then lie asleep beside Brajarani. ॥३॥
