MEANING
झूलें श्रीविठ्ठलनाथ मणिमय पालने ॥निजजन किये सनाथ लालन लालने ॥ ध्रुव ॥Shri Vitthalnath swings in a jewel-studded cradle. The cherished Lala has given His own devotees the shelter of a Lord. ॥ ध्रुव ॥रमकि झमकि घुंघरु घंटावलि कनक जटित मनिहीर ॥रत्न कलश कलपाट पटाकन उपर दक्षन चीर ॥१॥Little bells and rows of larger bells ring and shimmer, adorned with gold, gems, and diamonds. Jeweled kalashas, decorative panels, and banners adorn it, with an auspicious cloth above. ॥१॥मनि मोतिन के झूमक विचविच लटकन लटकत लोल ॥छबिसों छगन मगन वल्लभ सुत झूलत झोटन झोल ॥२॥Tassels of gems and pearls hang between, gently swaying to and fro. Filled with the beauty and joy of the moment, Vallabh’s son swings happily as the cradle moves back and forth. ॥२॥सिर कुलही उलही लट लटकन तिलक भाल भृगु बंक ॥नेन विशाल कृपाल कृपानिध मुख छबि शरद मयंक ॥३॥A kulah adorns His head, with curling locks falling around it, and a graceful tilak shines upon His forehead. His eyes are large; He is compassionate, a treasure-house of grace, and His beautiful face is like the moon of Sharad. ॥३॥चटक मटक चुटकी कर तारी चटकि चटकि चुटकारी ॥जुवति वृन्द हँसि हँसि हुलरावत अपने तन मन बारी ॥४॥With lively gestures, snapping fingers, and rhythmic clapping, the young women joyfully play with Him. Laughing and laughing, they lovingly delight Lala and offer their body and mind to Him. ॥४॥आनंदभरी अक्कांजू मैया निरखि लड्यावति लाले ॥मंगल गाय मुदित नरनारी वारत मोतिनमाले ॥५॥Filled with joy, Mother Akkaji gazes upon Lala and lovingly fondles Him. Delighted men and women sing auspicious songs and lovingly offer pearl necklaces over Him. ॥५॥जसुमतिके घर पलना झूले बहुत असुर सिंघारे ॥सो श्रम निराकरन वल्लभ गृह व्रज मंडल पाउंधारे ॥६॥He who once swung in a cradle in Jasumati’s home and destroyed many asuras has now come to Vallabh’s home in Vrajmandal, as though to rest from that exertion. ॥६॥द्विज अवतार सोई पुरुषोत्तम कलिके जीव उद्धारे ॥गोकुल प्रभु तुम बेग बडे होउ पुष्टिभक्ति विस्तारे ॥७॥That same Purushottam has appeared in the form of a Dwij to uplift the jivas of Kaliyug. O Prabhu of Gokul, may You quickly grow up and spread Pushti Bhakti. ॥७॥
