MEANING
झूठी मीठी बतियां ललन मनुहार करन आये ॥ कहा कहिये तेरे हृदयकी सुंदरताई जैसे तन स्याम तेसेई हो मन तातें ब्रजयुवतिन मनभाये ॥१॥Lal has come to please you with sweet, coaxing words. What can be said of the beauty of His heart? Just as His body is dark and beautiful, so is His heart; for this reason He is dear to the young women of Vraj. ॥१॥कित सकुचत पिय खरे नीके लागत प्राणपियाके रंगछाये ॥ धन्यधन्यहो ते त्रिया कोन सुकृत कीने ताते गोविंदप्रभु पिय पाये ॥२॥Why do you hesitate? Your beloved looks truly beautiful, filled with the colour of affection for His dearest one. Blessed indeed is that woman—what good deeds must she have done, that she has attained Govind Prabhu as her beloved? ॥२॥
