MEANING
कनककटोरा प्रातहिदधिघृतमिठाई ॥ खेलतखात गिरायदेत झगरतदोउभाई ॥१॥Early in the morning, curd, ghee, and sweets are served in golden bowls. The two brothers play and eat, spill their food, and quarrel with each other. ॥१॥अरसपरसचुटिया गहेदोउ वरजतहैंमाई ॥ महाढीठमानतनहीं कछुलोहोरबडाई ॥२॥The two brothers pull each other's hair, while their mothers try to stop them. They are very stubborn and mischievous, paying no attention to the scolding or warnings of their elders. ॥२॥अल्प-स्वल्पदशनावलि सुंदरकिलकाई ॥ देखतबोली रोहिणी यशुमति मुसकाई ॥३॥Their few little teeth look beautiful as they laugh with delight. Seeing them, Rohini speaks, and Yashoda smiles. ॥३॥घरघरतेव्रजसुंदरी देखनकोआई ॥ महासिंधुआनंबढ्यो गृहसुधि बिसराई ॥४॥The women of Vraj come from every house to see the two brothers. Their happiness grows into a vast ocean of joy, and they forget all about their homes. ॥४॥गोविंदकेचरणारविंद तजअनतनजाई ॥ धरणीधरश्रीजगन्नाथ माधोबलजाई ॥५॥Leaving the lotus feet of Govind, may I never go anywhere else. O Shri Jagannath, the lifter of Govardhan, Madhav offers himself to You again and again. ॥५॥
