MEANING
नंदमहरकै आज बधाई ॥जसुमति उदर नवल विधु प्रगट्यौ सकल कला सुखदाई ॥१॥Today there is congratulation at Nanda Mahar's house.In Yashoda's womb the new moon has appeared, giver of happiness through all arts. ॥1॥नाचत सब मिलि करत कुलाहल आनंद मंगल गाई ॥ब्रजजन देत विविध पटभूषन फूले अंग न माई ॥२॥All dance together, making joyful noise, and sing songs of joy and auspiciousness.The people of Vraj give various cloths and ornaments; their limbs swell with delight and do not fit within themselves. ॥2॥आंगन मोतिन चौक पुरावत बंदनवार बंधाई ॥निरखि हरखि गोविंद मगन मन बहोत न्यौछावरि पाई ॥३॥They fill the courtyard with a pearl chowk and tie festoons.Beholding Govind with joy, their minds absorbed, they offer much in loving dedication. ॥3॥
