पक्वखजूरजंबूबदरीफल लेहो काछन टेरीद्वार ॥ लरका यूथसंग बलमोहन चोके करत विहार ॥१॥“Take ripe dates, jamun, and ber fruits!” calls the fruit seller at the doorway. Bal Mohan is playing in the courtyard with a group of boys. ॥१॥सुंदर कर जननीकेनोंदीनों ले धाये तब नंदकुमार ॥ हीरारत्ननपूरीत भाजन ऐसे परमउदार ॥२॥Then Nandkumar comes running, carrying in His beautiful hands jewels from His mother. So exceedingly generous is He, offering a vessel filled with diamonds and precious gems. ॥२॥उरसों लगाय खातखातचले मीठे परम रसाल ॥ जूठी गुठली मारत गोविंद के हँसत हँसावत ग्वाल ॥३॥Holding the exceedingly sweet and juicy fruits close to His chest, He walks along eating them. The cowherd boys throw the fruit stones they have sucked at Govind, laughing and making others laugh. ॥३॥
