MEANING
फूल हिंडोरना झूले वृषभानकुमारी । ललितादिक सब फूल झुलावे देत हैं तन मन वारी ॥१ ॥Vṛṣabhānu’s daughter swings upon the flower swing. Lalitā and the other sakhīs make the flower swing, offering their whole hearts and minds in loving devotion. ॥१ ॥डांडी फूल खंभ फूलनके मरुवे फूल बनाये । धरनी फूल पर रच्यो हिंडोरो फूलनि बादर छाये ॥२ ॥The swing-bars are made of flowers, the pillars of flowers, and the crosspieces of flowers. The swing has been arranged upon a flower-covered ground, with flower-clouds spreading overhead. ॥२ ॥सब आभूषन पहर फूलके श्रीराधा मन फूली । प्रफुलित भ्रमर गुंजार करत है दामिनी दमकन भूली ॥३ ॥Śrī Rādhā, wearing all Her ornaments made of flowers, is filled with joy. Blossoming bees hum, while the lightning, dazzled by their radiance, seems to forget its own flashing. ॥३ ॥गूंथे कच फूलनसों भोंह पर सीसफूल सिर राजे । फूलन माँग झिबि झिबि फूलन फूल झालर अति छाजै ॥४ ॥Her hair is braided with flowers; a flower ornament adorns Her brow, and a head-flower shines upon Her head. Her hair-parting is adorned with flowers, and flowers shimmer and shine; a flower fringe looks exceedingly beautiful. ॥४ ॥टीकी फूल फूलनकी बैसर फूलनि बारी सोहे ॥ माला फूल हार फूलनके दुलरी फूलन मोहे ॥५ ॥A flower forehead ornament and a flower nose ornament adorn Her; flower earrings look beautiful. A flower garland, a flower necklace, a flower necklace of delicate beauty—all made of flowers—delight the heart. ॥५ ॥बाजुबंद फूलनके बांधे चूरी फूल सुहाई । कंकन फूल रहे कर उपर फूल मुदरिया भाई ॥६ ॥Flower armlets are tied upon Her arms, and beautiful flower bangles adorn Her wrists. Flower bracelets rest upon Her hands, and flower rings look lovely upon Her fingers. ॥६ ॥सारी फूल फूलनको लहेंगा अंगिया फूल विराजे । बेनी फूल रही कटि उपर निरख अहिपति लाजे ॥७ ॥Her sari is made of flowers, her lehenga is made of flowers, and a flower-adorned bodice shines beautifully. A flower braid rests upon Her waist; beholding Her, even the serpent-king feels abashed. ॥७ ॥जेहर फूल फूलनकी पायल फूल अनवट छबि भारी । कमलफूल पद फूलनि बिछिया सूरदास बलिहारी ॥८ ॥A flower ornament adorns Her waist, flower anklets adorn Her feet, and flower ornaments of great beauty adorn Her ankles. Lotus flowers are at Her feet, with flower toe-rings upon Her toes; Sūrdās offers himself in loving devotion to this beauty. ॥८॥
