रस भरे पिय प्यारी, जोरी अति रंग सारी, सुरंग हिंडोरें झूले सोभा अति बाढी ॥
The beloved pair, filled with rasa and beautifully adorned in colour, swing upon the lovely hindora, and their splendour greatly increases. ॥
पीय के पिछोरा पाग, कुलह रही अर्ध भाग, प्यारी के कसुंभी सारी कंचूकी कसी गाढी ॥१ ॥
The beloved wears a pichhora and turban, with the kulah partly visible; the beloved one wears a kusumbi-coloured sari and a closely fitted kanchuki. ॥१ ॥
झोटा देत ब्रज की नारी बाजत मृदंग तारी कोकिल कहूंकनी मोर की रारी ॥
The women of Vraj give pushes to the swing; the mridang and cymbals sound, the cuckoo calls, and the peacocks cry. ॥
बूंदन की झमकनी दामिनी की चमकनी ये छबि निरख निरख 'दास' बलिहारी ॥२ ॥
Raindrops gently shimmer and lightning flashes; beholding this beauty again and again, Das offers himself in devotion. ॥२ ॥
