सांची प्रीत भई इक ठोर ॥ मृगनयनी कमलदल लोचन लाल स्याम राधा तन गोर ॥१॥True love has come together in one place: Radha, fair in form and doe-eyed, and Lal Shyam, whose eyes are like lotus petals. ॥१॥इत सर सोहत पाटकी दोरी हरि सिर रुचिर चन्द्रिका मोर ॥ यह रसिकन वे रसिक सिरोमनि यह ग्वालिन वे माखन चोर ॥२॥On her head shines the graceful silken braid, while on Hari’s head shines the lovely crescent-shaped peacock-feather ornament. She is foremost among those filled with rasa, and He is the crown-jewel among rasikas; she is a cowherd maiden, and He is the butter-thief.यह करिनी वे गजवर नायक यह मालनी वे भोगी भोंर ॥ परमानन्द नंदनंदन की राधा सी जोरी नहि और ॥३॥She is like a graceful female elephant, and He like the noble lord of elephants; she is like a flower-gardener, and He like the bee delighting among blossoms.
