सखरीरी देख सोभा वन की ॥ इत मोहन मुख मधुर मुरलिका उत गरजन नवधन की ॥१॥O sakhi, behold the beauty of the forest. Here is Mohan’s sweet face and melodious flute, and there is the thunder of the fresh rainclouds. ॥१॥उतही स्याम बादर सोहत इत राजत सामल तन की ॥ उत बगपांति हीरावलि मुक्ता गिरिधर गरे लसन की ॥२॥There the dark clouds shine, and here His dark-hued form shines beautifully. There appears a row of white herons, and here a necklace of pearls gleams upon Giridhar’s neck. ॥२॥इतही रुचिर बनमाल बनी उर उतही रहन इन्द्रधन की ॥ उत दामिनी चपला चमकत इत फरकन पीत वसनकी ॥३॥Here the lovely vanamala adorns His chest, and there shines Indra’s bow, the rainbow. There lightning flashes, and here His yellow garment flutters. ॥३॥उत धुरवा इत धातु विचित्र रुचि सुभग श्रीअंग लसन की ॥ उत बूंदे द्रूम वेली सिंचत इत प्रेमनीर बरखन की ॥४॥There streams of rain are falling, and here His beautiful limbs shine with varied mineral colors. There the raindrops water the trees and creepers, and here the waters of love pour forth. ॥४॥अति आनंद निरख दोऊ सुख गावत विहंगम गनकी ॥ चतुर्भुज प्रभु गिरिधरन रसिकवर करि बिनति विलसन की ॥५॥Beholding both sights brings great joy, while flocks of birds sing in delight. Chaturbhuj humbly prays to Prabhu Giridhar, the foremost rasika, to continue revealing this beautiful lila. ॥५॥
