MEANING
सुंदर वदन देख्यो आज क्रीट मुगट सुहावनो । मन भावनो ब्रजराज । लीयो मन आकर मुरली रही अधर पर साज ॥१॥Today, I beheld His beautiful face, with a lovely crown adorning His head. The Lord of Vraj, so pleasing to the heart, has captivated my mind. His flute rests beautifully upon His lips. ॥१॥कलक ओट न सही सके लछि महामनोहर तास । गोपीजन तन प्रान वारत रह्यो मनमथ लाज ॥२॥Having beheld His supremely enchanting beauty, they cannot bear even for Him to be hidden from their sight. The gopis offer their bodies and lives to Him, while even Kamadeva, the god of love, feels ashamed before Him. ॥२॥सूर सुत यह नन्द को श्री वल्लभ कुल सरताज ॥Sur says, this son of Nand is the crown jewel of Shri Vallabh's lineage.
