MEANING
तें माटी क्यों खाई मेरे मोहन ।ठाड़े कहत गोप बालिक सब जैहें तेरे गोहन ॥१॥Why did You eat dirt, my Mohan? All the gop children who go with Your cows are standing here and saying so ॥१॥मुकरि गये मैं कछु न देखी झूठेंई आनि लगाई ।दै प्रतीति पसार बदन तब सब बसुधा दरसाई ॥२॥He denied it: “I have seen nothing; they have falsely brought this charge.” To give proof, He opened His mouth wide, and then showed the whole earth ॥२॥चक्रत भई जसुमति जिय डरपी मन माया उपजाई ।सूरदास प्रभु बाल केलि रस म्हों आई पीराई ॥३॥Jasumati became bewildered, and fear arose in her heart; maya arose in her mind. Surdas says: in Prabhu's child-play rasa, even pain came sweetly ॥३॥
