MEANING
उसीर महल में बिराजे मंडल मध्य मोहनछाकखात ॥ ओदनरोटी जंघाधरेलाल शाकपाक फल रसाल सीलापर गोरसकेपात ॥१॥Mohan sits in the middle of a circle of cowherd friends, enjoying His meal in a cool pavilion made of vetiver grass. The beloved Lord has rice and rotis resting on His thigh, with cooked vegetables, delicious fruits, and bowls of milk preparations placed on a stone slab nearby. ॥१॥चहुंओर मेघज्यों छूटत फुहारे फुंहीकबहु सुबलगोद हसिदरजात ॥ नंददासप्रभु स्यामढाकतर आपुन हँसत हँसावत ग्वालन सरस बनावत बात ॥२॥All around, fine sprays of water fall like gentle rain from the clouds. Sometimes, Subal playfully falls into His lap, bringing laughter to everyone. Nanddas says that his Lord Shyam, seated beneath the Dhak tree, laughs and makes the cowherd boys laugh, delighting them with sweet and playful conversation. ॥२॥
