स्यामढाकतर मंडल जोर जोर बेठे अबछाकखात दधीओदन ॥ सघन कुंजमध्य चंदनके महेल रचिउसीर रावटी चहुंओर छीरकत गुलाब जलसोदन ॥१॥Shyam sits with His friends in groups beneath a Dhak tree, happily eating rice mixed with curd. In the middle of a dense, beautiful grove stands a sandalwood pavilion surrounded by screens made of fragrant vetiver grass. Rosewater is being sprinkled all around. ॥१॥आसपास मिल बेठे सखासब रुचिरडला भरे प्रेम प्रमोदन । परमानंद प्रभुगोपाल अद्भुतगुन रूपरसाल आरोगत मंडल मध्य सुबल सुगोधन ॥२॥All His cowherd friends sit together around Him, filled with love and joy. Parmanand says that Lord Gopal, who is full of wonderful qualities and beauty, sits in the middle of the circle, enjoying His meal with Subal and Sugodhan. ॥२॥
