MEANING
आज नंदराय कै पूत भयौ ॥करौ बधायौ मनकौ भायौ उरको शूल गयौ ॥१॥Today a son has been born to Nandarai.Offer congratulations; what pleased the heart has happened, and the thorn of the heart has gone. ॥1॥मंगलचार करत भवननमें आई सकल व्रजबाल ॥गावत आये गीत गोप सब नाचत आये ग्वाल ॥२॥All the children of Vraj came into the houses, performing auspicious songs.All the gopas came singing songs; the cowherds came dancing. ॥2॥लैत बलाय रानी रायजूकी वारत मोतिन माल ॥हम निजकरि बसै या व्रजमें किये तुमारे लाल ॥३॥They ward off evil from Rani and Raiju and offer pearl necklaces.“Your Lal has made this Vraj His own and dwells here.” ॥3॥जा दिनको करि रहे मनोरथ सो दिन क्यौहू पायौ ॥श्रीविट्ठलगिरिधरसे ढोटा अब विधि भाग बढ़ायौ ॥४॥The day for which they had been holding desire, somehow that day has been attained.Through Shri Vitthal Giridhar's boy, destiny has now increased fortune. ॥4॥
