MEANING
नंदरायकें नवनिधि आई ॥The nine treasures have come to Nandarāya.माथें मुकुट श्रवन मणि कुंडल पीत बसन अरु चारि भुजाई ॥१॥With a crown upon His head, jeweled earrings upon His ears, yellow garments, and four arms. ॥१॥बाजत बीन मृदंग शंख धुनि घसि अरगजा अंग चढ़ाई ॥The vīṇā, mṛdaṅga, and conch resound, while fragrant argajā paste is rubbed upon the body.दधि पीवत और चंदन छिरकत रपटि परत हैं लैत उठाई ॥२॥They drink curd and sprinkle sandalwood paste; slipping and falling, they lift one another up. ॥२॥अच्छत दूब लियै चढ़ बड़े द्वारन बंदनमाल बंधाई ॥Taking auspicious rice and dūb grass, they offer them, and festoons are tied upon the great doorways.सूरदास सब मिले परस्पर दान देत नंद मन न अघाई ॥३॥Surdas says: all meet one another, and Nanda keeps giving gifts, his heart never becoming satisfied. ॥३॥
