MEANING
आये माई वरषाके अगवानी ॥ दादुर मोर पपैया बोले कुंजन बग पांत उडानी ॥१॥Mother, the signs of the rainy season have arrived. Frogs, peacocks, and papiha birds call out, while rows of herons fly over the groves. ॥१॥घनकी गरज सुन सुधि न रही कछु बदरन देखडरानी ॥ कुंभनदास प्रभु गोवर्धनधर लाल भये सुखदानी ॥२॥Hearing the thunder of the clouds, I lost all awareness, and seeing the dark clouds I became afraid. Kumbhandas says: Prabhu Lal, the bearer of Govardhan, became the giver of joy. ॥२॥
