बाल विनोद गोपाल के देखत मोहि भावें । प्रेम पुलकि आनंदभरी जसुमति गुन गावें ॥१॥Seeing Gopal’s childhood play delights me. Thrilled with love and filled with joy, Yashomati sings His praises. ॥१॥बलि समेत घन सामरौ आँगनमें धावै । बदन चूमि गोद लियौ सुत जानि खिलावै ॥२॥The dark-hued One runs about the courtyard together with Bal. Kissing His face, she takes Him in her lap and plays with Him, regarding Him as her son. ॥२॥शिव विरंचि मुनि देवता जाकी पार न पावै । सो परमानंद ग्वालकौ हँसि भलौ मनावै ॥३॥He whose limit Shiva, Brahma, sages, and gods cannot fathom—Parmanand says, that very One happily plays the part of a cowherd boy. ॥३॥
